Bill Edwards Foundation for the Arts is excited to announce Imagine Museum as our newest community partner and the fourth community art exhibit, titled “Music & Musings.” The opening reception for this event will take place on Wednesday, June 14th, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Duke Energy Center for the Arts – Mahaffey Theater.
We invite you to join us for the opening of “Glass Harmonies,” a contemporary glass art auction. This auction will feature artwork created by ten different glass artists and will be on display for patrons to view or purchase throughout the theater’s events until the end of August.
To support our children’s education program at the theater, 25% of the proceeds from the auction will be dedicated directly to funding this important initiative.
Music + Musings, a celebration of the arts in our community, is hosted by the Bill Edwards Foundation for the Arts at the Duke Energy Center for the Arts – Mahaffey Theater. Throughout the year, Music + Musings highlights various community partners and arts organizations in our Community Art Gallery, which is located in the upper lobby of the theater.
The event will include complimentary parking, one free drink, and light hors d’oeuvres for all attendees.
