Join The Treasure Island & Madeira Beach Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the Grand Opening of Cardio Sport – St. Pete!

Help us kick off The Workout of Sports “inaugural season” in St. Petersburg with all the fun of a memorable opening day! Join from 4-5 for our ribbon cutting ceremony, followed by a fun filled TEAM DYNAMIC class experience at 5:30 PM. Stay afterwards for drinks, snacks, and a chance to win some great prizes.

4:00-5:00 PM – Ribbon cutting ceremony & open house networking (Ribbon Cutting 4:15)
5:30 PM – Team Dynamic class workout experience
6:30-7:30 PM – Drinks, snacks, and more mingling fun.

Melissa Gwinn, the owner of Cardio Sport – St. Pete moved to the city in November of 2021 with her 3 children.  She had worked as a Cardio Sport Trainer in Massachusetts for many years.  She was very passionate about the brand and always dreamed about one day owning her own studio.  After unexpectedly losing her husband in November of 2020, she decided that life is too short not to follow her dreams. She invested into a Cardio Sport Franchise, sold her home in Massachusetts and moved herself and her children to beautiful St. Pete. After finding the perfect location for her business and going through a five-month long construction phase, she is finally able to open her doors and introduce you all to The Workout Of Sports. Since moving to St. Pete, Melissa has been very active in the local community joining many networking groups including both St. Pete and Treasure Island/Madeira Beach Chamber of Commerce, Power gals women’s networking group, and attending lots of other local networking and charitable events. She plays kickball with Tampa Bay Club Sport, and she is an active PTA Volunteer for her children’s school. She is super excited to be business owner in this amazing community and to help make a difference here in health, wellness, and sport.
